Originating Calls This term refers to any call, long-distance or local, made from your phone line. The main line may be made of fiber-optics, co-ax, or copper wires. They all do basically the same thing, but some are ever more efficient and easier to obtain than others. The big box at the junction of the phone lines is powered or activated, and contains digitizers. It is here that your call joins the mainstream or multiplexed line ending in your local switch and the fiber-optic national network. So, your phone lines work much like your neighborhood streets emptying onto a large highway: like roads, there are smaller pathways or cables, that join up at a major intersection to meet with your national network or pathway, which connects you to the rest of the country, and the world. It's been two years since I’ve open the account at calling cards and have only one thing to say: excellent service! I have tried several web sites before I found this one and none of them can compare to calling cards with price and quality of service! Highly recommended!!! Ever since I found calling cards I have never gone anywhere else for my phone cards. They truly have the best and clearest cards out there. I have never had a dropped call or got less minutes then they said. Thank you so much calling cards. Billing Address This term refers to the address where you receive your bill. Billing Increments Long-distance carriers usually charge in billing increments, or will round up the time you spend on a call. For example, if your carrier charges in one-minute increments, a 45-second call would be rounded up to the nearest minute, and would be charged the same as a 60-second call. If you are charged in six-second increments instead, then that same 45-second call would be rounded up to just 48-seconds. QUICK, FAST SERVICE. I DON’T NEED TO GO OUT TO BUY THE CARD. OUTSIDE IS VERY COLD. I CAN USE THIS SERVICE THROUGH MY CELL PHONE. IT SAVES ME A LOT OF MONEY ... I have absolutely no problems connecting my international calls and the voice quality has been very good. I continue to purchase cards from calling cards and I recommend it to my friends. If you've discovered the world of prepaid phone cards, you'll have noticed that, although these cards can be very handy, some of the language companies use to describe them is very confusing. There are so many types of phone cards out there and so many terms associated with them that, for the layman, understanding exactly what you're getting when you purchase a prepaid phone card can be very difficult. I've have been using calling cards products, mainly Purple Card to make calls to my country since I arrived in the US 2 years ago. I've researched for the best call card on the internet and I believe calling cards provides the cheapest and best products online. Another good feature of most of the products of calling cards is that they have many local access numbers. Card name cannot be more descriptive than this: "Mega" referring to the amount of minutes that you get for a small price, "clean" referring to be clean from any other hidden charges that I always got with other cards. With all the good you also have automatic pin input feature so you don't have to memorize and type it in every time!! I like that it is easy to purchase international calling cards on the calling cards web site. The rates and fees are clearly displayed. Unlike the competition, the actual calling card charges are as advertised. Directory Assistance Service This service occasionally comes with an attached fee that might be charged to your account on a per-use basis. It allows you to contact an operator with access to a database of directories and listings. So, if you're on the road and find that you are unable to locate a phone number or address, your local Directory Assistance Service can help you.
